The 2014 season started a bit wet, more windy than we'd have liked and sent chills up and down the spine but we ended up sunny and warm on the first day of summer.
We wrapped up our 2014 season in grand style on Saturday June 21 with 20 games at Wilson Park w. Between the dances with Erick Traplin, attendees consumed over 1,400 hot dogs! It wasn't a record but, for the 615 players and umpires, it was a great party.
We hope you enjoyed the 2014 season and hope you'll join us for 2015 - we're accepting registrations now!
2014 was our 4th consecutive year of increased registration numbers. We're now back up to 50 teams - 10 more teams than 2 years ago. Continued growth, while still operating a quality program at a reasonable cost, means we'll need additional sponsors and volunteers. We hope you'll do what you can to help. We welcome suggestions for improvements to our program - please submit any ideas ASAP so we can act on them.
In the meantime, keep practising!
