As per this memo from the City of Kitchener

As of January 1, 2014 all staff and volunteers are required by law, in accordance to section 7 of the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation, to be trained on the Ontario Human Rights Code, Duty to Accommodate.

To help meet compliance, we are sharing the following resources with our volunteers and staff (umpires):

1.)    Link to the Ontario Human Rights Commission (OHRC), duty to accommodate videos.  These videos have been created by the OHRC.

2.) The attached “Ontario Human Rights Code, Duty to Accommodate” brochure created for City of Waterloo and City of Kitchener staff and volunteers - a copy of which is being emailed to each particpant. (Compliance with the requirements of the act will be part of the registration agreement in future years.)

Please take the time to read the attachment - and be in compliance. Thanks!
